Nootropics that work 

I love experimenting with different supplements and observe how they affect the way my mind works. I don’t believe that any of legal substances can come even remotely close to NZT-48 type of thing, but the effect is noticeable, it’s worth it. Why? Well, if every single day you work a little more efficiently, no matter how little (even just 1%), it will accumulate. I’ve tried many things and learned to catch subtle differences in my perception and measure their effect on my productivity which allowed me to distinguish placebo from a real thing. However, there is no silver bullet. The nootropics stack is a very personal thing and one has to discover it for himself. Here’s what works for me:

  • Fish oil (i.e. EPA and DHA) is absolutely essential for health and cognitive support
  • Acetyl-L-carnitine (a.k.a. ALCAR) alleviates bad feelings and improves mood
  • Uridine monophosphate taken with Alpha-GPC works as a powerful stimulant
  • Noopept is also a great stimulant (especially when taken sublingually)
